Heidi Klum debuts her new bob after growing ‘bored’ of old look
Throughout her supermodel career, Heidi Klum has been known for long, glossy honey blonde hair tumbling as far as her famous assets.
But the German mother-of-four has decided it’s time for a change – and with four children to look after her new short bob is certainly more practical.
Klum, 36, debuted the look yesterday on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show, wearing a cream shift dress and Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels.
She told Leno: ‘I got bored as we all do once in a while as girls. Whenever I get bored I change it. I grow it then cut it, grow it then cut it.
‘For some people they never change it and it works for them but for me I get bored.
Clearly in a fun-loving mood after her trip to the stylists, the Project Runway host then turned the table on the host and decided to give him a new look.
‘You have hair, not like my husband (Seal),’ she said. ‘You can actually do something with it.’
Klum’s spontaneity may drop her in trouble with her sponsors, however, the German haircase brand Drei Wetter Taft.
But with celebrities with hair extensions such as Cheryl Cole and Beyonce representing L’Oreal hair products, Klum can simply get extensions when required.
Klum’s talk show appearance came after a visit to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association building in LA, from which she was chauffeured in a gold Rolls-Royce.
Last week she and Seal paid a short visit to her native Germany.
Perhaps giving away a bit too much information about their sex life, Klum described their bedroom antics as ‘nice and spicy’ in a recent interview.
She told the American edition of Cosmopolitan: ‘I’m not big on costumes in bed, to be honest. I wouldn’t say no if he wanted to try, but it seems so inorganic.
‘Maybe it’ll come later – in five or 10 years, I’ll start buying funny outfits. But for now, we’re nice and spicy in that department.’
Klum also revealed she loves being naked and spends a lot of time without clothes while relaxing at home with Seal and their four children Leni, Henry, Johan and Lou.
Klum, who played herself in an episode of Sex And The City, played herself in a recent episode of Desperate Housewives.
The model had a go at Eva Longoria’s character Gabrielle Solis for taping toilet paper to her Manolo Blahniks as she walked down the runway many years previously.
