H&M Studio introduces Pre-Spring 2025 capsule with fresh perspective on Transitional Dressing

HM Studio Pre-spring Capsule

Swedish fashion giant H&M has unveiled its Studio Pre-Spring 2025 collection that introduces a new outlook on transitional dressing between Winter and Spring season.

Inspired by the chrysalis state of a butterfly (getting ready to emerge onto the scene), the collection comprises of curated essentials such as outerwear, dresses, tops, and bottoms. The look of the collection can be described as sculptural, with sharp tailoring of voluminous shapes, flowing fabrics and sleek lines. The color palette predominantly revolves around black and midnight blue accentuated by a yellow and purple crocus print- the first flower of Spring, breaking through the snow.

Standout pieces include a collarless double-breasted long, tailored blazer-style coat, a leather rendition of the classic trench coat, and a voluminous trench in a windbreaker-type fabric with a high collar. Complimenting these are a long, fluid dress with billowing sleeves, a handkerchief hem and keyhole neckline. Coated denim, printed leggings and a leather wraparound miniskirt.

‘In between winter and spring, we long for the sun on our skin but still need outerwear. Thinking about that time before we can fully bloom led us to this play of tailoring and floaty fabrics. And by injecting a bit of toughness with leather and denim, the capsule feels powerful and confident – ready for anything,’ Linda Wikell, Designer H&M Studio said in a press release.

H&M Studio’s Pre-Spring capsule is available now online at hm.com.
