PRM introduces New Brands and expands into New Markets following its acquisition by Answear.com
Polish fashion and streetwear destination PRM is expanding into new markets after its acquisition by Polish fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform this June.
PRM which combines streetwear and high fashion has been extensively developing its premium product range by introducing limited collections from the world’s most sought after brands that were not previously available in the region. These include brands such as Rick Owens, Japanese streetwear label A Bathing Ape, French brand Drole De Monsieur, British luxury streetwear brand Represent, Scottish Sustainable Clothing Brand Pangaia, and last but not least Milan-based fashion label Marcelo Burlon.
The expansion is a major step for prm.com and a natural extension of its fashion and streetwear product range. It has launched sales platforms in Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece and Ukraine via which orders can be placed and offers shipping throughout the European Union. Combining minimalism and splendor, the new concept enables it to further tap into this strategic segment and will elevate the brand to the next level.
‘Fashion is an essential part of lifestyle for us. We want to define it according to our own rules, not draw boundaries between men’s and women’s collections, bet on versatility and look for creative, often daring solutions. Using the experience of Answear.com, we are building customer confidence in the Polish, European and Ukrainian markets. We are planning a dynamic development of the sales platform and the opening of further markets in the coming months, we want to consistently acquire new brands, offer unique collaborations and special collections. We are also acquiring brands and collections that were previously unavailable in the region and could only be purchased at top Western fashion houses,’ said PRM brand director Kamil Bajolek.
Answear.com, which had a revenue of around 210 million Euros in 2022 sees great potential in the premium products market that is predicted to witness dynamic growth. It aims to complement its well-established position in the fashion and lifestyle segment by combining a unique product offering with it’s operational excellence, technology and logistics capabilities. Its acquisition of PRM is part of a long-term strategy that will give it the opportunity to have an even broader reach and strengthen it’s position as one of the leading fashion e-commerce players operating in Central and Eastern European markets.
