L’Oreal Paris appoints Kate Winslet as its Global Ambassador
British actress Kate Winslet is the new face of iconic beauty brand L’Oreal Paris.
The Oscar-winning actress who is fresh off her hit HBO show, Mare of Easttown will share L’Oreal’s mission for women: ‘never doubt yourself; we’re all worth it.’ She joins the likes of Jane Fonda, Celine Dion, Elle Fanning, Amber Heard, Soo Joo Park, Liya Kebede and Leila Bekhti.
‘It’s taken work to get to a place where I make no apology for who I am, where I accept my flaws. I’m delighted to join the L’Oreal Paris sisterhood to say: it takes courage and strength to believe that you are worth it. Winslet supports many causes that are close to the values L’Oreal Paris stands for:equal rights, feminism, inclusivity and sustainability. She supports women’s rights through the UN Women and Ovarian Cancer Action, and children’s rights as a founder of the Golden Hat Foundation. Enviromentally she backs The World Forest Organisation and is also part of the charity organization Cardboard Citizens to change perceptions of homeless people through theatre.
