Uniqlo launches Spring / Summer ’21 collaborative collection with Hana Tajima
Japanese retailer Uniqlo and British-Japanese designer Hana Tajima have announced the launch of a Spring / Summer ’21 collaborative collection.
Titled ‘Uniqlo x Hana Tajima’ the 27 piece collection comprises of Outerwear, Shirts, Blouses, T-Shirts, Pants, Skirts, Dresses, and Accessories (Hijab, Stole, Headband). Embodying a rich sense of cultural diversity, all of the pieces are made from Rayon and linen in sober colors, and feature fine details and iconic geometric patterns.
Embracing the beauty of all women, the long awaited exclusive collaboration line features elegantly simplistic pieces, offering comfortable, versatile clothing for all women of all backgrounds, regardless of age, race, culture or belief.
Tajima’s contemporary, functional designs, which are both culturally sensitive and extremely versatile, continue garnering international attention. This is not the first time that the designer and Uniqlo have collaborated. The duo has worked together since 2015 when they launched her Debut Fall / Winter 2015 collection comprising of lightweight breathable fabrics with loose silhouettes. Following the success of the first collection a second one was released in Spring / Summer 2016. This was followed by a Fall / Winter 2016 collection.
Priced between 10 Euros (for a scarf) and 99 Euros (for a Jacket), the Uniqlo x Hana Tajima collection will be available from April 9th online and in Uniqlo stores.
