Superga taps Hailey Bieber as Global Ambassador
The model/TV host fronts the brands’ campaign for its latest collection shot in a New York studio by an all-female team including photographer Stevie Dance and stylist and fashion editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. Sporting laid-back casualwear of white shirts an denim jeans, Bieber models the latest Superga sneakers.
Designed from cotton, rubber and aluminum, the new collection is entirely organic and timelessly classy. There is also a sustainable line that has been released comprising of signature styles crafted from eco-friendly materials such as organic cotton, hemp, recycled rubber and cork.
‘Superga is synonymous with Italy so when I was asked to become the brand’s new ambassador, I immediately thought about how it’s one of my favorite countries – I spent a part of my honeymoon there. I love the legacy and story of the brand. Superga has always stayed true to its roots and has never gone out of style. I think their designs are timeless and stylish, and at the same time I feel they fit my personal style perfectly,’ said Bieber in a statement.
Bieber who is also an environmental activist revealed that her favourite piece from the collection is the new Superga 2630 Stripe.
