Louis Vuitton launches Bespoke Perfume Service
French fashion house Louis Vuitton has unveiled a bespoke Haute Perfumery service.
Launched with master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, the customized service is complimentary upon purchase. Similar to the House’s personalisation services such as hot-stamping for leather goods, customers have the option to personalise a fragrance bottle and its Travel Case.
Within minutes they can engrave the initials of themselves or their loved ones, thereby creating a permanent and wholly personal emblem. In keeping with the Louis Vuitton aesthetic, the carving is subtle and refined, with the choice of either gold or a natural finish that compliments the vessel.
In addition to the initial engraving service, customers can also request personalized perfumes that are created in the tradition of the special orders that have been rooted deeply in the Louis Vuitton DNA since 1854. After creating a client’s olfactory portrait Belletrud begins composing the scent by hand at the Atelier d’Art, a new space dedicated to bespoke perfumes in the heart of Les Fontaines Parfumees.
‘I wanted to offer our clients the possibility of wearing a unique fragrance, made in my creative workshop. To me, this bespoke Haute Perfumery service represents the essence of the House, because ultra personalization has always been at the heart of Louis Vuitton,’ explained Belletrud.
The Louis Vuitton bespoke Perfumery service begins at 60,000 EUR (approximately 72,690 USD) and is available in select Louis Vuitton stores.
