Model of the Week: Inga Reska
Each week, we take the time to highlight one of our favorite emerging models. Previously, we profiled Belgian beauty Chavelli Inghels and this week we’re turning our attention to Inga Reska.
Embodying an effortlessly cool and unparalleled versatility, the German beauty is well on her way to becoming a real force in fashion. She credits modeling for giving her the confidence and teaching her to not care about other people’s opinions.
We caught up with her to talk about her career so far, her passion for modeling and her plans for the future.

Have you always wanted to be a model? If not, what did you want to be growing up?
I actually always wanted to become an actress. But then I got really tall and the modeling thought kind of popped up in my mind. That was maybe like a few years ago when I was about thirteen or so but I wanted to finish school first.
How were you scouted?
I went to Hamburg at the end of 2018 to see some agencies which I contacted before and after some very positive feedback, I chose Model Management to be my first agency.
How would you describe yourself as model in three words?
humorous, open-minded, confident
Your first modeling job?
It was for an online store called ‘Best Secret’.
What is your favorite or most exciting aspect about being a model?
That I can travel to places for free and get paid for making some poses in front of a camera which is such an easy and fun thing for me.
Is there anyone that you admire as a role model and why?
No, currently I don’t have a role model.
What’s been your biggest OMG moment to date?
After my first fashion show, I walked out of the building and saw an actor I used to really like when I was younger. That was pretty cool.
What is your dream shoot/campaign?
I don’t have one specifically. I am just looking forward to every shoot I have and really enjoy my work.
Biggest lesson that modeling has taught you?
To be grateful for everything and to not care about other people’s opinions.
What’s the best life advice you’ve ever received?
To be happy.
How do you stay in shape?
I love doing my yoga workouts every one or two days, going for long walks with my dog and eating lots of fruits and veggies as I am living a vegan life.
What do you think about fashion? What does it mean to you?
Fashion is a great opportunity to express feelings and to present yourself as who you are or want to be. For me, it is not that important though. I do not think too much about what I am gonna wear.
If you had to be head to tow in one designer brand for the rest of your life, which would it be?
I am not really into designer fashion, to be honest I mean I like a few but I wouldn’t like to just wear designer outfits every day.
How would you describe your style?
My style depends on my mood, the weather and who I am with. Most of the time I prefer being in a cozy outfit but I also like dressing up for special events.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Watching series
If you were an emoji, which would you be and why?
I think the one with tears of joy as I love making jokes and really like to laugh and have fun and also the nerd face but just to show that I like being ironic.
When you’re not busy modeling, what are some of your favorite things to do?
I love being in nature with my dog, doing yoga, watching documentaries and series and sometimes I am doing my home studies as well.
What are you working on now and what do you dream of happening in the future?
I am still figuring out what I want in life. But I can say that I definitely want to travel a lot more.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?
I don’t even know where I see myself in a few weeks. Everything is possible.
