Barbara Palvin is the newest Angel of Victoria’s Secret
Barbara Palvin is officially a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
The 25-year-old Hungarian model succeeds Adriana Lima who walked for the last time for Victoria’s Secret on November 8, 2019.
‘I never thought it would happen and it has exceeded all my expectations. I’m very excited to announce that I’m officially a @victoriassecret ANGEL!’ she excitedly announced in an Instagram post. ‘There were times where I let my own thoughts hold me back and it was a hard climb away from those but my family, my team, Ed, and everyone at VS they were always there to support me and uplift me. I am proud to represent Hungary, and most importantly, all of you in this new chapter of my life!’
Palvin is the first Hungarian model to walk for the lingerie brand. She had strut down the catwalk at New York’s most recent show in the fall of 2018. Prior to that she mad her debut for Victoria’s Secret in its 2012 Fashion Show and modeled in multiple campaigns thereafter. She joins a star-studded line-up of 14 Victoria’s Secret Angels, including Taylor Hill, Candice Swanepoel, and Romee Strijd.
