Victoria Beckham teams up with Reebok on new Athleticwear Collection
British fashion designer Victoria Beckham has teamed up with Reebok on a new Athleticwear Collection.
Titled ‘Reebok x Victoria Beckham’ the Spring / Summer 2019 collection consists of burnt orange joggers, functional sports bras and seamless leggings to sleeveless hoodies, silver foil jackets and a pair of basketball-inspired tailored snap trousers. All of the pieces were inspired by her life in Los Angeles and London and unites California’s signature style with sleek British tailoring.
Many of the garments are unisex that can be worn in both sports and everyday wear and according to Beckham, her goal was to combine the casual look of streetwear with the functional performance of sportswear while remaining true to the minimalist aesthetic. ‘I wanted a collection that works with a busy schedule like mine,’she said in a press release. ‘I have personally wear tested each performance piece during workouts.’
The campaign was styled by Alastair McKimm and features models sporting the refined and minimalistic looks from the collection. Priced between $80 for a tank top or bra, and $300 for a pair of sock shoes, the ‘Reebok x Victoria Beckham’ Spring / Summer 2019 collection is now available online at Reeboks website and in select stores worldwide.
