Founded in 2006, by Stephen Chi, the women’s footwear brand has epitomized affordable luxury in shoe design and has firmly established itself in Asia.
The label was born as a result of a unique combination of ingredients: a family with generations of craftsmanship experience, a European design team and a reliance on the best Italian leather. Chi’s family has been in the business of producing shoes for decades and the founder and artistic director stays committed to the family’s manufacturing know-how and craftsmanship.

With design and leather teams located in Riviera del Brenta, in the Northeastern corner of Italy, the company ensures its access to the best leather. In recent years Stella Luna has grown into an internationally recognized brand with shops across the Middle East, as well as three boutiques in Paris. The brand is carried exclusively in Hong Kong at Lane Crawford and in the United States at Barneys New York.
In addition to founder and artistic director Stephen Chi who oversees each of Stella Luna’s collections, the brand’s creative direction is lead by former French Vogue fashion editor, Capucine Safyurtlu, who injects a modern, versatile and fashion-forward approach to Stella Luna’s designs.
Stella Luna has been making its mark on red carpets around the world with a slew of stars such as Kate Bosworth, Isla Fisher, Anna Kendrick, Heidi Klum, Hailey Baldwin, Sarah Paulson, Nina Dobrev, Jessica Alba and Adriana Lima rocking its styles.
