Cindy Crawford talks ageing and the beauty of self-acceptance

Runway legend Cindy Crawford has opened up about her feelings on growing old gracefully particularly as a woman in her 40s still working in the fashion industry.
The 43-year-old supermodel and mum-of-two recently told Hello! that she has learned to embrace her body and changing appearance as she has grown older, letting go of any prior pressures to look perfect.
She told the magazine: “I’m more comfortable with myself in the sense that hey, this is who I am now. I guess I appreciate my body for other things – like I was able to give birth to two kids.
“But at the same time, I am aware my body doesn’t look the same way it did when I was 23. I don’t want to stand next to a 20-year-old on the runway, even if people say you can still do it.”
As one of the original supermodels, Cindy launched her modelling career back in the late 80s and early 90s.
The brunette tied the knot with her second husband Rande Gerber in 1998. She was previously wed to Hollywood heartthrob Richard Gere.
