Elsa Hosk will wear the Victoria’s Secret Swarovski outfit
Victoria’s Secret Angel Elsa Hosk will wear this year’s Swarovski look.
In honor of the fifteenth anniversary of its collaboration with Victoria’s Secret, Swarovski has made huge crystal wings. The jewelry brand used some 275,000 colored crystals, more than 180 meters of woven ribbon and a crystallized armor for the special edition of the wings. The outfit, which Hosk will wear includes a red bra, full-length crystal adorned sleeves, a sparkling colourful set of wings and feather-covered sandals.
The Sweedish model who opened last year’s VS runway was chosen to wear the special anniversary edition of the Victoria’s Secret Swarovski crystal look which weigh a total of 6.5 kilograms. ‘When I found out I was wearing the Swarovski look I was so excited as I’ve always wanted to wear it. I can’t wait to walk down the runway in it,’ Hosk told WWD.
‘The construction of the outfit makes you feel out of this world…like wearing an armour of crystals. The look is sexy, but also really cool and modern,’ she added.
‘The outfit has an incredible wing that is completely covered in brilliant multicolored stones,’ Monica Mitro, executive vice president, brand communications and events at Victoria’s Secret told WWD. ‘It is one of the heaviest wings we have ever made.’
The Victoria’s Secret Show 2017, will be recorded on Monday, November 20th in Shanghai and will be televised on CBS on Nov. 28, 10 p.m. ET.
