Lara Stone presents winter looks for Net-a-Porters ‘The Edit’
Lara Stone is the cover star of The Edit Magazine for its December 22nd Issue.
The dutch supermodel presents pre-Christmas looks in a series of images captured by Boo George in the British countryside and styled by Cathy Kasterine.
On the cover she is seen reclining on a sofa against a grey background in a white-red wool sweater by A.P.C. and pajama shorts by Hanro. Inside the accompanying editorial Lara shows off winter outfits such as chic knits, luxe lingerie and ultra-desirable dresses.
In addition to cuddly indoor outfits for the holidays, the Dutch beauty is also seen in various winterly outdoor ensembles: such as a midi length coat by Isabel Marant and rustic lace-up boots by Jimmy Choo. The outfit matches well with the backdrop of an autumn forest, in which Stone stands at the center. In another less wintry look, the 33-year-old is seen in a floral patterned dress by Jason Wu and a cardigan with graphic ornaments by Alanui that provide a touch of urban fashion.
In her accompanying interview with the magazine Stone explains why she prefers appearing in photoshoots than fashion shows. ‘I can’t walk in heels, so the catwalk is not really for me. I get super nervous. I hate being on any kind of stage’. She also said that is she is now looking forward to just one or two shows a year. ‘I’ve got my son – I don’t want to be on a big fashion tour for a month if I don’t have to be,’ she added.
