Kate Moss Fronts Naked Cashmere’s Sexy New Campaign
Kate Moss has been tapped by Naked Cashmere for its inaugural Fall 2016 ad campaign titled Embrace.
The 42-year-old supermodel was lensed by famed fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh on the beach of Le Touquet for a series of sultry black and white images which was created by David Lipman. Moss looks elegantly timeless as she models numerous cashmere pieces of the line whilst sporting minimal makeup and loose undone waves.
‘When I’m on a shoot, I go to a different place in my mind. Clothes make you feel a certain way, and you move in that way and play a character. When I first put on Naked Cashmere, I didn’t feel like I was anyone other than myself. It was really amazing,’ Moss said in a statement. ‘And working with Peter Lindbergh on the shoot made things even more special. I’ve worked with Peter for many years, and he has known me since I was very young, so together we were able to express what Naked Cashmere is all about. I was so comfortable working with him and I think the campaign feels really true to who I am,’ she added.
Naked Cashmere was founded by 360 Cashmere’s Bruce and Leslie Gifford who have been in cashmere business selling cashmere the traditional way for 20 years, and were inspired to launch the brand after a trip to inner Mongolia. ‘Natural Luxury at Unnatural prices’ is the motto of the line and is in line with the brands goal of bringing premium cashmere to consumers at an affordable price.
The new line of 100 percent cashmere products is available on nakedcashmere.com and consists of cardigans, sweaters, wraps, ponchos and gloves for men and women. Items retail between $50 and $500.
