Bella Hadid Is the new face of J.W. Anderson’s Fall Campaign
Bella Hadid is the star of the Fall 2016 campaign of Irish designer J.W. Anderson.
Lensed by Photographer Jamie Hawkesworth, the 19-year-old American model appears in an artistic scene against a mist bathed background. Sporting a blue silk blouse and black skirt, she plays the role of an uneasy actress who’s in between takes of filming a new movie.
In another black and white image, Bella appears alongside a young, unnamed boy in a black shirt standing in front of a landscape with a stringed marionette puppet.
The campaign images which marks a dramatic difference from the brand’s last campaign, leaves much room for interpretation. It was shot in a studio and on location in Lee Valley Regional Park, which is situated just outside of London in England. Make-up was by Peter Philips of Dior.
For Bella Hadid, the new J.W. Anderson campaign is one of several big jobs this year. The younger sister Gigi Hadid also landed a campaign for Givenchy and was appointed brand ambassador for Dior makeup. She will be walking in J.W. Anderson’s show during London Fashion Week.
