Meet Lauren Layne, Our August 2016 Model Of The Month
NSay Hello to our August 2016 Model Of The Month, the beautiful Lauren Layne.
The 21-year-old native of Joplin, Missouri started modeling after getting approached by a scout when she was only nine and signed with an agency in Kansas City, a few months later. Confident, Athletic, and Fun, she does cave into pressure easily especially when it comes to keeping up with Social Media. ‘There’s always some pressure to stay connected to social media and build up your following. But I don’t let it control or run my life’ she quips. ‘If I don’t have a picture to post that day it’s not the end of the world’.
Lauren has steadily been making her rise in the fashion world having modeled for cool brands like Abercrombie and Fitch, Macys, Hollister and Co.and Gerlan Jeans. She has been seen in Seventeen Magazine and Elle Italy. A lover of rap music and helping people, she considers fashion as having empowered her by making her feel more confident. Wise beyond her years she has plenty of advice to dish out to aspiring girls. ‘My number one advice, Be confident in yourself. With confidence you can do anything.’
When asked to listing the most exciting aspect about being a model she says ‘its being able to meet so many different people and travel to amazing places’. In addition to modeling, Lauren is an avid workout enthusiast and credits SLT, yoga and boxing as her go-to fitness routines.
The highlight of this year for Lauren has undoubtedly been shooting for Victoria’s Secret. ‘It’s most models dream so to be lucky enough to shoot for them is everything’ she says. With her pretty poise and brilliance, she hopes to start her own swim line and become an actress. ‘You have to dedicate yourself to what you want. And keep doing things that will get you closer to achieving your goal’ she concludes.
