Hari Nef is the New Face of Mansur Gavriel

Transgender activist, actress and model Hari Nef is the face of cult label Mansur Gavriel’s fall campaign.

The 23-year-old was shot by sisters Tanya and Zhenya Posternak for a series of blue-skied dreamy photographs in which she appears holding various Mansur Gavriel designs. The new collection by the brand features covetable designs including a new Sun bag, and a red mini-bucket bag.

Hari has had an amazing year and has been rising as of late. She earned her theater degree from Columbia University, became the first transgender model ever signed to IMG’s U.S. roster, walked the runways for Adam Selman and Hood By Air and has appeared in a campaign for & Other Stories. She also had a role in Amazon’s Tv series ‘Transparent’.

The campaign also marks the first time that the brand has used a big name model. Started by Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel in 2013, the NYC based label used lesser known models in the past for its campaigns.
