Bella Hadid Lands Her First Vogue Cover
Following in her sister’s footsteps Bella Hadid has landed the first Vogue cover of her modeling career.
The 19-year-old appears for the May issue of the Turkish fashion magazine in a Givenchy crop top and skirt.
Bella took to Instagram to share the happy news with her almost four million followers and expressed her thanks to all those who made it happen. ‘I can’t believe it!!! My first VOGUE cover !!! Thank you @vogueturkiye and my wonderful @sebastianfaena & so talented @koncaaykan for creating such an amazing story with me,’ she wrote alongside a picture of the cover.
Hadid also thanked her modeling agency IMG Models: ‘Thank you @annemarieleonie @jonathan_bender @ivanbart & @imgmodels I LOVE you guys so much & am so thankful for you! I feel so grateful, proud and excited!!!’
The accompanying shoot by Sebastian Faena is a 80s glamorous Hollywood inspired one that has Bella sporting a white ensemble by Givenchy, an updo Pompadour look while the California native leans against a door, and looks directly at the camera.
