Kate Moss leaves her Modelling Agency after 28 years
Kate Moss has left Storm Model Management, the agency that scouted her 28 years ago.
‘After a successful 28 year relationship, Kate is moving her business in house, and we will continue to maintain an active involvement in our on-going deals for her,’ the agency said in a statement.
Moss joined Storm when its founder, Sarah Doukas, spotted her as a 14 year-old at JFK airport in 1988. Moss’ departure from Storm suggests that she may be moving her focus away from modelling and onto other areas. According to the Daily Mail the decision was amicable and her younger sister Lottie remains with the modeling agency.
Storm models is recognized for managing the careers of major fashion models – Cindy Crawford, Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne who parted ways in 2015 to pursue an acting career.
