Cara Delevingne is the new face of YSL
Cara Delevingne has made her return to modelling.
The 23-year-old is the new face of Saint Laurent’s La Collection De Paris, that was staged by Hedi Slimane at Paris Fashion Week just a few weeks ago.
The black and white photos were lensed by Slimane himself which he shared over his Twitter account. Embodying the style of the eighties, in one image Delevingne sports a sequin embroidered bustier dress with a big belt buckle, while in another a fur coat and dramatic eye make-up.
‘Over time, I came to realize that work and getting others’ approval isn’t the most important thing,’ she said. ‘Yes, your career is very important-but it’s not the most important. Of course I was proud of my accomplishments, but I wasn’t genuinely happy.’
Delevingne has had a successful cooperation with Yves Saint Laurent having fronted the campaign for its 2013 Grunge Collection.
