Kate Moss upstages the bride at friends’ wedding
Choosing an outfit to wear to a friend’s wedding or child’s christening used to be more of a chore than it is today. Finding something that was adequately appropriate while at the same time sexy and akin to your personality was not always easy, but all that has changed now. When it comes to occasionwear, there are no longer any rules.
Just ask our favourite supermodel Kate Moss, who was snapped attending the wedding of Jess Hallett and Pietro Birindelli in Italy over the weekend.
She donned a bright red thigh-skimming chiffon designer dress, with self-styled asymmetrical sleeves, flowing ribbons and a cinched-in waist – so much for trying not to upstage the bride!
As if the dress wasn’t fabulously daring enough, the ever-rebellious fashionista shunned the usual designer shoes with skyscraper heels and a pristine salon-styled updo in favour of a pair of black leather pumps and a messy blonde bun.
She rounded off the look with a black leather clutch bag, a gorgeous sun-kissed tan and a big smile on her face, which I must confess, we here at Secret Sales HQ were surprised to see!
But for me, the star of the wedding had to be little Lila Grace, who really looked like a chip off the old block. The seven-year-old donned a white lacy minidress – just like something her mum would wear – along with some very fashionable silver strappy gladiator sandals and the trademark Moss blonde tousled hair.
What’s the most daring outfit you have worn to a wedding?
