Meet Xenia Deli The Model In Justin Bieber’s New Video
Xenia Deli is a model on the rise. Having worked for Victoria’s Secret Pink and Sport Illustrated South Africa she has landed the plushiest gig of her career, playing Justin Bieber’s romantic interest in the “What Do You Mean” music video.
The action-packed video, is the first single off Bieber’s new album, which is due out later this year. Directed by Brad Furman, finds the two getting intimate inside a motel room, fighting off a crew of masked men, and partying at a skatepark. The two strip down and have their hands all over each other. At one point, Deli even licks Bieber’s chest.
Deli told Harper’s Bazaar that she’s pursuing acting and hoping this added exposure helps boost her career. However, the 25-year-old model from Moldova has been overwhelmed by the backlash she has experienced because of her steamy scenes with the pop singer. “There have been so many negative comments,” Xenia Deli told the magazine. “I wasn’t expecting this reaction — I thought everyone would be excited! I can’t do anything about it though. It’s not about me. Whatever they do, it doesn’t say anything about me, it says more about them. But I just want to say, I didn’t do anything wrong, I was just doing my job. I’m not taking Justin away from his fans. I’m so sensitive to what people think about me, so I just stopped reading the comments.”
