Karlie Kloss Launches Youtube Channel
Supermodel Karlie Kloss has added another talent to her impressive resume. After hanging up her Victoria’s Secret wings to study at NYU the multi-hyphenate has launched her own YouTube Channel, aptly named Klossy.
Designed to give her fans a behind-the-scenes look at her life, work and daily routine, Kloss launched her channel today with help from talented friend, fellow YouTube vlogger and film maker Casey Neistat. In less than 15 hours since its launch the channel accumulated over 36,000 subscribers while her first post (a trailer) already reached more than 120,000 views.
Karlie introduced her channel with a trailer in which she talks about how she was ‘discovered’ as a model at the age of 13 and how she’s lived her life in front of the camera ever since. The trailer lives up to the premise of the channel giving a general glimpse into the life of the American model working out, driving around, behind-the-scenes at a Victoria’s Secret show and a cross-country road trip with BFF Taylor Swift.
“I’ve spent the majority of my life in front of the camera, but not my camera, and that’s where this is different.” Kloss explains. “These are the things you didn’t get to see before. Like the crazy things that happen on set and the thrilling moments before I step out on the runway. I could not be more excited to share my story and this adventure with you.”
The 22 year old who is the owner of baking business Karlie’s Kookies, a Nike-endorsed athlete and has a passion for coding seems to have a new found love to vlog. “Modelling has kept me very busy, but it’s not my soul focus,” she says in the channel’s trailer. “I also make time for my baking career, learning how to code, and I just got accepted to NYU.”
