Adriana Lima hits the streets in floral mini dress

Considering that Adriana Lima is one of the most well known fashion exports to come out of Brazil (in addition to being unquestionably easy on the eye), attracting attention where ever in the world her successful modeling career has her setting foot in should, needless to say, come as nothing unexpected. And the Brazilian top model was most definitely hard to miss on Wednesday (the eighteenth day of March).

The thirty-three year old head turner, who has for about nearly more than a decade and a half been a member of Victoria’s Secret‘s select group of famous Angels – and the longest-running Angel in the history of that American lingerie giant to hold the coveted title – (since the year 2000, to be exact), was spotted heading out and about down in her native country of Brazil, where her imposing mannequin height, her unmistakably striking beauty and her street style know-how certainly made it difficult for her to move along without getting noticed on the spot.

Lima stepped out in to the busy streets of Rio de Janeiro wearing her abundant raven tresses parted at the center of her head and tumbling down in some relatively unkempt semi waves (at one point she pulled her hair up into a tight pony tail), while her piercing blue-green eyes were properly shielded from any harm the ultraviolet rays of the sun could cause, with a pair of oversized shades by Vogue eyewear that had bluish violet frames. As for her trendy clothing of choice, the Salvador, Bahia-born stunner was donned in a colorful printed frock which was perfectly fitting of the current spring season (although it is actually autumn down in the southern hemisphere at the moment).

The statuesque mother of two looked every inch in style as she rocked the mostly white mini frock which boasted a multitude of vivid red and pink flowers with dim purple leaves. The attention grabbing number featured a v neckline and a was folded in to pleats from the waist down. Its teensy pleated skirt did exactly what it was designed to do; highlight Lima’s long and toned lower limbs – which were further elongated with a rosey red set of peep toe sandal pumps with towering platforms – quite impeccably. She completed the ensemble with a leather shoulder tote bag in black.

Whether it was a business or a pleasure trip (or both), the five-foot ten-inch bombshell’s recent jet stop in Brazil was nonetheless apparently much appreciated, as her job filled schedule as a Victoria’s Secret Angel has her working mostly in the United States (where the powerhouse of intimate wear is based) year round. Briefly after her arrival a number of days ago, Lima made sure to share her excitement about being back in her home nation via one of her social media accounts, both in her mother tongue Portuguese as well as in English for her fans all over the world.

“Feliz por estar no meu Brasil! Happy to be in my homeland Brazil! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏,” she gushed to her nearly four and a half million Instagram followers on Wednesday of last week (the eleventh day of March). The photo that accompanied the message is an over the shoulder head shot of Lima which sees her posing with her lips puckered up as a colorful mosaic tile wall – belonging to the popular tourist attraction, the Escadaria SelarA?n – that has a picture of the Brazilian flag and the words “Brasil 2010” can be seen in the background.
