Irina Shayk heats up the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

There is absolutely no question or doubt whatsoever that the chances of Irina Shayk failing to make each and every swimsuit publication she appears in all the more sizzling with her mere presence are close to none, so it is not too difficult to see why the sultry Russian supermodel has seemingly become a no brainer choice when the time comes in recruiting some of the fashion industry’s most jaw dropping mannequins to grace the pages of the highly coveted annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

The twenty-nine year old bombshell, who has lent her good looks to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue for a remarkable total of nine years and counting since 2007 (including the cover of the 2011 edition), does not at all disappoint in the newly released 2015 number of the glossy, but that is rather to be expected of her. Needless to say, Shayk effortlessly proves in the featured images, that despite not having landed on the front of the publication this year, she can very well still give the eventual cover girl, Hannah Davis, a run for her money.

Rocking a sun kissed glow and letting her dark brunette locks loose in tousled waves to embody the epitome of a quintessential beach babe, Shayk is seen getting temperatures rising to totally new heights as she showcases a number of sexy bikinis in an array of styles, each one skimpier than the last. Not only does the newly single beauty treat the Sports Illustrated readers to a smoldering display of her phenomenal figure, she also gives her former beau, thirty year old Portuguese international footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, a reminder of exactly what he is so foolishly missing while at it.

The Yemanzhelinsk-born head turner’s editorial spread in the 2015 edition of the hotly popular magazine, which hit newsstands on Monday (the ninth of February), was captured by the camera lens of noted Taiwanese-born American fashion photographer Yu Tsai, with grooming by hair stylist John Ruggiero and makeup artist Allan Avendano. In a few of the scorching images taken in the scenic Hawaiian island of Kauai, Shayk appears topless, only clad in a colorful pair of spaghetti string bikini bottoms while concealing her otherwise exposed modesty with either her forearms or her thighs.

With Saint Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Shayk not long ago admitted that even though she currently had no plans in particular for this upcoming weekend as far as the special occasion goes, she still has her expectations set high on what she believes her ideal date should never be without. “I love an expensive bottle of champagne. Chocolate and [a] cool movie,” she told E! News on Tuesday (the tenth of this month). “Like yesterday I saw Pretty Woman and that felt like Valentine’s for me. It was really nice.”

When asked about what she looks for in a man, the statuesque dazzler’s response may have quite possibly hinted one of if not the only reason behind her recent breakup with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, who she allegedly met through their famous Armani Exchange campaigns together and with whom she enjoyed a relationship spanning five long years. “I think I love honest men and I love a man who is loyal to women,” Shayk revealed. “I think this is [the] most important thing in [a] man.”
