Victoria’s Secret has a new addition to its roster: the 19-year-old Gigi Hadid. Following on her sexy appearance in the iconic 2015 Pirelli Calendar the model announced the news on Sunday to her 1.2 instagram followers with a teaser from the set of a VS Pink shoot.
Pulling funny faces Gigi is seen in a black and white striped jumper with Elliston Lutz poised with a camera over her shoulder. She captioned the shot ‘bein a goof on set of @vspink with @ellistonlutz’.
The deal is a gigantic one for the IMG model and the beginning of a beautiful career for her. The daughter of the Dutch model Yolanda Foster, having been just two years in the modelling business has been tied to big names in the fashion industry such as Chanel and Tom Ford. She’s also proved her versatility with high fashion to commercial appearances as well. It may well be obvious that Gigi is here to stay as she makes her foray into Lingerie.
Victoria’s Secret is known for keeping an eye out for new talent and Pink is the perfect starting-off point for Gigi. It may as well happen that she parades the VS catwalk next year.
