Cara Delevingne Appears In Pan Trailer
Following on the release of her romantic short film teaser for Chanel, Cara Delevingne‘s acting career seems to be moving forward steadily. The Multi-Hyphenate has appeared in her latest role as a very pretty looking mermaid in the upcoming “Pan” movie. Though we only get a momentary glimpse of Cara in the trailer it is a strong sign that the model is shifting her focus from modeling to acting.
The film is a new take on the origin of the classic by J M Barrie and follows the story of an orphan, Peter, who is taken to Neverland. Featuring a star-studded cast that includes Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, and Garrett Hedlund as Hook it is set to drop next summer on 17 July 2015. The movie is directed by Joe Wright who’s known for films like “Atonement,” “Pride In Prejudice” and “Anna Karenina.
With her acting skills on display in the new Lagerfeld directed Chanel short film Cara seems to have a buzzworthy acting career. Having already had an appearance in the TV movie Timeless, and has six films lined up for the coming year. She is next set to release a music track produced in collaboration with Pharrel Williams (which will appear in the Chanel film). Which leaves us wondering if the Peter Pan film will also feature Cara’s singing talent ? Don’t be surprised if it does.
