Designer of Angelina Jolie’s custom wedding dress unveiled

Being the world-class actress that she is, it is needless to say that Angelina Jolie would of course opt for a dress made by an equally renowned luxury fashion house for her wedding day.

It was recently revealed that the thirty-nine year-old beauty, who finally exchanged vows with fellow film star Brad Pitt after a nine-year long relationship, enlisted the expertise of Italian high-end fashion designer Donatella Versace to create the exquisite wedding gown she donned last month at the ChA?teau Miraval in southern France.

“Versace is honoured to announce that on August 23, Angelina Jolie chose to wear a stunning Atelier Versace creation designed by Donatella Versace in occasion of her marriage to Brad Pitt,” the Milan-based brand communicated in a statement which also made known that Jolie’s children played a significant role in the creation of the custom-made nuptial dress.

“[Jolie] was perfect in a white silk-satin Atelier Versace gown gathered at the bust with elongated train, detailed with the embroidered drawings of her children that got reproduced also on the silk veil,” it read. “She accessorised her stunning creation wearing a pair of white Versace silk satin pumps.”
