Roberto Cavalli’s model-studded Cannes yacht party

We all know the Cannes Film Festival attracts the fashion and entertainment industry’s biggest names, but on Wednesday night of last week, Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli took full advantage of the occasion and held a party of his own.

The star-studded gathering which took place on board the renowned seventy-three year-old clothes maker’s luxury yacht welcomed an array of catwalk queens such as Alessandra Ambrosio, Coco Rocha, Heidi Klum, Izabel Goulart, Jessica Hart, Toni Garrn and Cavalli’s favorites Irina Shayk and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who rubbed elbows with noted Hollywood personalities on May 21st.

The twenty-eight year-old Russian bombshell Irina Shayk turned heads in an embellished see-through black dress which displayed her modelesque figure (and her underwear). The brunette stunner, who recently appeared on the cover of Vogue Spain (June 2014) alongside her long-term footballer-boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo, teamed up the flesh-revealing number with double-strapped high-heeled sandals and a boxy clucth bag, both in black.

The mannequin who seemingly got the most affection from Cavalli was the twenty-seven year-old Brit Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Assembled photographers captured the Devon-born beauty, who was donned in a snug-fitting black pencil dress which featured cut-out side vents, getting plenty of kisses and hugs from the host. She completed her look with matching criss-cross strappy pumps and glittery clutch purse.
