Karlie and Kendall wow at the Cannes Film Festival opening day

American models Karlie Kloss and Kendall Jenner set foot in Cannes on Wednesday for the opening day of that French coastal city’s annual Film Festival, which is famous for garnering noted fashion and entertainment personalities.

Donned in a sheer lace tri-colored gown, statuesque twenty-one year-old Kloss opted for a dramatic look as she strut the spectacle’s red carpet in the elaborate Spring/Summer 2014 creation by Valentino. The eye-catching Victoria’s Secret Angel styled her hair in a messy updo and posed for the lenses of attending shutterbugs.

Taking center stage, the Illinois-born stunner had no need in adding height to her six-foot-one-inch frame and wore flat gold sandals. The smokey-eyed stunner added jewelry pieces from Chopard‘s Green Carpet collection.

Meanwhile, eighteen year-old Jenner went for a more simplistic look in a black and white midi dress which featured scrunched monochrome corsage style overlay. The California girl teamed up the Chanel garment with a pair of double-strapped high-heeled shoes and a metallic silver clutch purse.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, who walked for Chanel’s ready-to-wear spectacle this past Paris Fashion Week in March, also blinged up her look with Chopard accessories during the festival’s “Grace of Monaco” premiere.
