The ‘angels’ show off as only they can!
Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima and Behati Prinsloo take to the ‘bottom’ as they show off their well-toned “boom booms” for the latest Victoria’s Secret photoshoot.
All hail the glory of the ………and glorious they are. The angels are seen in various poses as they show off in skimpy underwear which is the norm for the lovely angels. They are seen relaxing on beds or just sitting on a chair but there’s no getting away from those famous physiques. Candice, Adriana and Behati have made it as ‘angels’ and wear their ‘angel wings’ proudly but it was a hard road getting there. VS creative director, Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou revealed the ‘terrifying’ process that the models have to go through to gain a coveted spot in the VS annual runway show. She said: “They all have to do it – even the contracted girls – and it’s incredibly nerve-wracking for them. It’s quite terrifying for the models….They are provisionally cast by John Pfeiffer but the final decision is made by the whole team, sitting at this long table in a room with really harsh lighting and they have to walk towards us and away from us. It’s about being show-ready. It’s really like being an Olympian – they have to be in peak condition. It’s not about being thin or anything like that – it’s about being ready to perform and be the best you can be in that moment. It’s not about being thin – it’s about being ready to perform.”
Meanwhile, the ‘angels’ are prepping for the annual Christmas runway show working out to the max but one or two are going the other way. Lindsay Ellingson said this during the New York Fashion Week. “I think it’s sexier and more feminine to be more full. So I add like almond butter, peanut butter, protein shakes to my diet, just to feel a little sexier and curvier” Well then, ‘bottoms up’ and may the ‘angels’ have a long long reign!
