Kate Moss “shows off” at Milan Fashion Week party
Supermodel Kate Moss went braless and made a statement at the Milan Fashion Week party on Thursday night. Perhaps, it was a preview for what is to come. Rumour has it that the model is planning to celebrate her upcoming 40th birthday by baring all for the Playboy magazine. Not that we haven’t seen enough of her already!
Kate joined a hip crowd at the Stuart Weitzman flagship store opening wearing a tuxedo-style jacket with a peek-a-boo sheer blouse underneath it sans the bra and matching pants. The strappy heels added to her height and the black clutch bag added a touch of elegance to the ensemble. She was the guest of honour at the star-studded event and posed happily with the man himself, Stuart Weitzman, as he launched his Spring/Summer 2014 collection. She later greeted Donatella Versace with a hug and kisses and left the event in a taxi when it was all over.
The model made a lasting impression as she left the party and if you’d like to see more of Ms Moss, you’ll have to wait for the January-February edition. Meanwhile, Playboy’s editorial director, Jimmy Jellinek told the Los Angeles Times, “This is a massive global brand. You need a global icon in order to celebrate that – that was the impetus. You’re talking about the face of Burberry, the biggest supermodel in the world on the cover of Playboy. She’s the perfect partner for us to help launch the next 60 years. This creates a heat for the brand globally. It started with Marilyn Monroe on the cover of Playboy 60 years ago, an icon for her time. Now, we’ve got Kate Moss.” Of course, Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner had to have the last word. He added: “She’s a worldwide celebrity and iconic and crosses the boundaries from sexual imagery to upscale modeling. It’s a natural for us.”
Photographer duo, Marcus Pigott and Mert Alas will do the honours of capturing Kate in her glory as a Playboy Bunny wearing bunny ears, French cuffs, silk stockings and a “I’ve arrived smile!”
