Want to look like Cindy Crawford? Then ditch bread… she tears up a loaf in anti-ageing shoot
Cindy Crawford was blessed with long, lean legs and a fabulous figure, but it appears that even she has to watch what she eats.
In a photoshoot for Allure magazine the supermodel is pictured energetically tearing up a loaf of white bread.
An accompanying caption reads: ‘White bread may be slang for innocuous, but not for your diet’.
The 43-year-old is seen in a number of different shots for the ‘anti-ageing issue’ of the American magazine.
Each of the images represents a different tip to maintain youthful looks.
According to the captions those wanting to maintain their youth should focus on achieving ‘the youngest looking smile: White, even teeth, and pin, healthy gums,’ while ‘hair that’s strong, shiny and vibrant looks youthful, regardless of its colour.’
In one picture a swimsuit-clad Cindy is seen hanging from a glossy ponytail.
In another she is naked, with her modesty preserved by nothing but a covering of shaving foam.
In an accompanying interview Cindy says she still likes her body, 20 years after it catapulted her to fame.
‘I think I look pretty good for 43, but I don’t look the way I did when I was 23,’ she said.
And she also admitted she has cellulite: ‘I do, and I never said I didn’t. I’ve had two kids and I’m 43, so leave me alone!’
She also told the magazine that the body parts she took the most care of were her hands and decol
She explained: ‘In LA, there are 65-year-old women walking around in Juicy sweatpants, and from the back, you’d think they were 20.
‘But when you see their hands or their neck, you know.’
Crawford was married to actor Richard Gere between 1991 and 1995. She has been married to Rande Gerber since May 29, 1998, with whom she has two children, Presley Walker and Kaia Jordan.
