Bruce Willis marries British model in luxury Caribbean ceremony… with wife Demi and their three daughters all guests
Bruce Willis has married British-born model Emma Heming in an island ceremony in the Caribbean.
The movie star wed Heming at his home in the Turks and Caicos islands, his spokesman told a magazine.
Willis, 54, has been in a relationship with Heming – who, with her long brown hair, has provoked comment over her resemblance to his previous wife Demi Moore – for over a year.
The 30-year-old, raised in north London and California, has modelled for lingerie brand La Senza and made a handful of acting appearances. The couple’s wedding ceremony took place at the Die Hard star’s house on the private island Parrot Cay, according to U.S. Weekly.
Willis’ spokesman told the magazine: ‘The couple will be having a civil ceremony when they return to California.’
Former wife Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher, who remain on good terms with the couple, were said to have been among the guests at Parrot Cay, billed as ‘the world’s most exclusive resort’.
In an online message yesterday, Kutcher posted a photo of his wife showing her ‘steam(ing) my suit while wearing a bikini’, giving credence to reports they were attending the wedding.
At the resort, guests enjoy a simple but luxurious aesthetic of white walls, cavernous bathrooms and four-poster beds, as well as ‘cosseting’ service.
Boasting a mile-long stretch of white sand and set among pristine turquoise waters, the 1,000-acre island is just an hour’s flight and a 25-minute speedboat ride away from Miami.
Willis has a house among a handful of villas located a few minutes away from the main resort, which enjoy an ’empty and secure’ private beach and allow travellers the villa experience with hotel services attached.
Architects who designed the ‘Bruce Willis Residence’ described it as a take on classic Caribbean architecture, made up of a series of buildings, a main house, several guest pavilions and poolside cabanas.
Willis, whose 13-year marriage to Moore ended in 2000, has three daughters from the relationship. Asked in 2007 whether he would settle down again, he said ‘anything was possible’.
He told the Daily Mail: ‘I would really love a son or two sons or three more girls.
‘I just haven’t met anybody yet that I want to have kids with. But that’s the good thing about being a guy – it doesn’t matter how old you are.’
Willis’ representatives could not be reached for comment.
