Supermodel Kristy Hinze begins Caribbean wedding plans

SUPERMODEL Kristy Hinze and billionaire sexagenarian Jim Clark have started planning an amazing technicolour Caribbean wedding.
But honeymoon plans are taking a back seat to Hinze’s budding TV career, with the late Russ’s granddaughter jetting back to Oz soon after the nuptials to shoot Project Runway.
The supermodel’s younger sister, Lauren Petroff, said more than 120 guests would attend the three-day private wedding at a mystery island location in the Caribbean.
Petroff revealed Hinze’s bridal party would be kitted out in half a dozen distinct hues – the maid of honour herself clad in a fetching turquoise.
“There’s about six or seven bridesmaids and we’re wearing all different colours. I think I’m wearing turquoise,” she said.
“I haven’t seen the dress (I’m wearing), they’re still getting made, but it’s got one shoulder and is a long flowing sort of dress.”
Petroff’s been in weekly contact with her older sister, who will wed Netscape founder Clark, 36 years her senior at 64.
“Kristy’s getting very excited obviously, I’ve been emailing and trying to work out everything over email,” she said.
The lavish wedding – Hinze’s first and Clark’s fourth – was going to be held at Clark’s multimillion-dollar Florida compound but was changed when details of the location were leaked.
Petroff will fly to the US in three weeks to spend time with Hinze in Miami ahead of the wedding, which is expected to cost well into the millions. She said her sister hadn’t made any plans for a honeymoon yet.
