Lily Cole goes for the “grunge look.”
Lily Cole, model turned actress must have been having an off-day. How else could you explain her appearance on Wednesday afternoon? Lily was seen looking uncharacteristically scruffy as she paraded her model statistics in New York’s Soho District in a slightly over-sized zip-up cardigan and tight skinny jeans and paired it with grunge at its best, dark brown rocker boots. Her hair was unkempt and her face seemed to be make-up free.
It could be that she’s had a busy week and dressing-down was the order of the day. Lily made a showing at the New York screening of Kate Hudson and Kiefer Sutherland’s new political thriller, The Reluctant Fundamentalist on Monday evening and of course, it was dress-up time then. The model told The Independent earlier this year: “I’m not modeling anymore. It’s been a crazy journey since first being spotted but modeling never felt like a long-term plan. I’ve wanted to act since I was a child.”
She has walked some of the world’s hottest catwalks during her career as one of the world’s top models but is currently concentrating on her acting career. It looks like she’s wanting to keep her good looks under wraps as well but here’s hoping that it’s just an off-day for her!
