Benji who? Newly single Paris Hilton hits town in a flowing dress and a brave face

Paris Hilton looked classy in an eye-catching dress as she posed at an LA bar opening in the wake of her split with rocker Benji Madden.
And if the socialite was unhappy after the break-up she tried her best to hide it in an attention-grabbing outfit decked with yellow ribbons, matching alice bands and a handbag.
The heiress looked fresh-faced and clear-eyed – not like someone who had spent the past week at home crying their eyes out.
Her full-length black dress with grey bodice was set off by the buttercup yellow sash, clutch purse and headband.
The colour co-ordinated Paris and a gal pal were attending the opening of Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge at the LA Live centre.
The new look comes just two days after she was spotted leaving an LA nightclub looking glum and alone.
The same night her ex Benji was partying it up with friends across town.
Paris and the Good Charlotte guitarist ended their 10-month relationship earlier this week, after the heiress was spotted getting cosy with ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos in Miami.
The couple had started dating in February after spending more time together while visiting her best friend – and Simple Life co-star – Nicole Richie.
Nicole, daughter of singer Lionel Richie, has an 11-month-old daughter Harlow with Benji’s twin brother Joel.
Paris and Benji’s relationship started just weeks after he ended his engagement to Australian singer/actress Sophie Monk.
The shock split came just as sources were predicting the pair would get engaged.
They have not revealed the reason for their break-up, but had increasingly been spending more time apart due to Paris’ filming commitments in London.
But with her choice of dress, Paris is clearly determined to show the world she is happy to be single and back on the market.
