Here’s looking at your legs, kid!
What do you wear to a shoe event? If you’re supermodel, Miranda Kerr, you pick tiny shorts to showcase your legs and to put the spotlight on the shoes, which is what she did as she made an appearance at the Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City on Tuesday night.
Australian model Miranda chose a blue shorts outfit in a floral print and showcased her “to die for legs” in a pair of sky-high stilettos. Talk about “killing two birds with one stone.” Her black footwear was designed by British designer Tabitha Simmons who won an award at the event. Miranda posted this tweet congratulating her. “Congratulations @Tabitha Simmons for the #FN ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS #StyleInfluenceroftheyearaward #MOMA love you T.”
Others who attended the event were Fergie of Black Eyed Peas fame. She wore her best pout and showcased her figure in a turqouise blue dress with lace detailing and put her best fashion feet forward in dark blue shoes. Designer of the Year was won by Charlotte Dellal who came dressed to please in a flowy black dress and teamed it with a leopard print coat. Model Hilary Rhoda looked sensational in a black and white lace dress but it was Miranda who stole the show in her shorts outfit.
She gave People Magazine a peek into her exercise regime in an interview earlier this month. She said, “I amped up my training. I’ve been doing a lot of Pilates, yoga, boxing and working my core, butt and legs. I also drink healthy green juices everyday and protein shakes.”
You can see the results for yourselves folks. Miranda simply glows with health and the “go green” method seems to be working for her.
