Tyra Banks is back and she’s sizzling hot!
Talk show host, Tyra Banks is back with “both barrels blazing” as she showed off her newly slimmed down figure. The tall statuesque model seems to have put her weight problems behind her as she posed for two different magazine covers.
In the behind-the-scenes shots for Cosmopolitan mag, the model turned talk show host showed off her gorgeous figure in a gold colored Herve Leger bandage dress that accentuated the fact that there wasn’t an extra ounce of fat to pinch anywhere. Tyra tweeted this caption with the picture. “Golden dress reminds me of my golden rule – when wearing a tight Herve Leger dress, hold your breath!” In another shot for the same magazine, she is seen being helped into a glass emblazoned bustier top by three people. The model joked: “How many people does it take to get me into a corset?”
As for the Arise magazine shoot, she snuggled into a short black retro style dress designed by Patrick Kelly and did her best to channel Beyonce by wearing her best pout. Wearing a crown-like headpiece on her head, she tweeted: “Remember ladies: U don’t need a KING to be a QUEEN!” and “This dress needs a sign that says, “Caution” fierce CURVES ahead!”
Weight has been an issue for the model who gained almost 30 pounds at the height of her professional career and it has been an uphill battle to lose those additional pounds in the fashion world where thin or size zero is seen as the norm. She is an advocate for every woman’s right not to be a size zero and is outspoken on her views so much so that she wrote an open letter to The Daily Beast applauding Vogue magazine’s decision not to use size zero or anorexic models.
Looks like Tyra has found something else to occupy herself with besides the contests she comes up with. Remember the “Who’s got the biggest forehead contest?” She’s come a long way from that one folks and all we can say is, “Two thumbs-up on the weight loss and the great photoshoot.”
