Kate Moss fronts Mango’s autumn/winter collection
Photographed by fab photographers Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the new Mango campaign features one of fashion’s best and most sought-after model, Ms Kate Moss.
Called the “Kate Moss for Mango” collection, it seems to be tailor-made to suit the model’s laissez faire personality and style sense. There are tuxedo style trousers, wool coats, blazers, jeans and of course, little black dresses for the more dressy events. To add sex-appeal, one dress has sheer panels while another is fully sequined adding the glam factor to an otherwise somber number. The collection is wearable, fun, young, sassy and packs a punch.
Ms Moss had this to say about the fundamental pieces, “The white and leather tuxedo jackets and the pencil skirts with the leather detail on the waist are my favourites. Pencil skirts seem to work for almost anyone and tuxedos are so versatile for day or night. And the jeans have a great fit.”
There you have it folks. Great tips from a lady in the know and one who almost never puts the wrong foot forward as far as fashion sense is concerned. Looks like the campaign is a winner with Kate Moss at the helm adding “sparkle” to the pieces. Sometimes it is the model that makes or breaks a campaign and that folks, is the honest truth.
