Paris Hilton comes under fire for “gay slam” remarks
Hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, is under fire for making statements which have been deemed as “homophobic and derogatory” while traveling in a taxi on September 7 in New York City. Radaronline is in possession of a shocking audio where Paris is heard saying that “most homosexual men probably have AIDS.”
The taxi driver whose taxi she was traveling in recorded the conversation and told Radar online, “I couldn’t believe what was coming out of Paris’ mouth and the way she was talking about gay men.” Paris was sharing the taxi with a gay male model friend when the two started talking about a cell phone application called Grindr which helps gay men find other gay men for the purpose of a date or more. A shocked Paris then retorted without thinking, mind you this was supposed to be a private conversation between her and a friend. She was heard saying: “Ewww, Eww. To get f***ed? Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They’re disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS….I would be so scared if I were a gay guy. You’ll like die of AIDS.”
Hmmm…..hmmm, yes Paris, open mouth and stick your foot in.
A spokesperson for Ms Hilton attempting to do damage control told Radaronline that “Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life threatening disease. It was not her intent to make any derogatory comments about gays. Paris Hilton is a huge supporter of the gay community and would never purposefully make any negative statements about anyone’s sexual orientation.”
In the meantime, Paris is keeping a tight lid on issuing comments especially when traveling in taxis in the wee hours of the morning.
