Katie Holmes shows “tough love” to daughter Suri
Sometimes it’s hard being a mother and that is exactly what happened as mother and daughter duo, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri, were seeing looking at some pet pooches in a Citipup pet store in NY but mum Katie put her foot down at Suri’s choice of a little black and white Yorkshire terrier and Maltese pup mix.
That brought out the pout in Suri who is obviously used to getting her own way. But Katie held the upper hand and left the store with little Suri in tow who later broke into a flood of tears. The normal antics of a child who doesn’t get her own way showing that even celebrity mums have to put up with what we normal folks do when it comes to children.
It is rumored that animal rights activists have urged Katie to adopt a dog rather than buy one and she seems to be taking their advice to heart. Devera Lynn of North Shore Animal League of America told RadarOnline: “We would love to show Kate the animals we have if she is ready to adopt.”
Well then, all might still turn out well in this mother and daughter battle of “who’s got the upper hand?” As we said, it’s tough being a mum and even more so when you’re a celebrity mum whose every move is scrutinized by the world.
