Elle Macpherson, “a style miss” in bizarre cut-out outfit
The 48-year old who is head judge on the new series, Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model came to the launch wearing a bizarre cut-out outfit that took away from her sexy image. The event was launched at the Claridges Hotel in London.
Elle Macpherson was definitely not dressed to please. A leopard print one armed top was teamed with a pair of tight black trousers that had slits running up the front of the legs. We can only assume she wanted to be comfortable for the long night ahead but it was a fashion miss. To complete the bizarre outfit she paired it with neon heels that screamed, “Look at me!” She was joined by fellow panelists, Whitney Port, Julien MacDonald and Tyson Bedford who seemed to be taking the event more seriously and dressed appropriately with Ms Port taking the honours for her lady-like appearance in a floral top, shocking pink skirt and mint green accessories which somehow seemed to match together and made a well-dressed fashion statement.
Elle told Sky News: “It’s that thing when someone walks in the room and you don’t know what it is. It’s like that X factor, that thing that someone has inside their heart. They stand out.”
Perhaps that was exactly what she was trying to do in that bizarre outfit and failed miserably. We know who’s going home with the worst-dressed award don’t we?”
