Gucci goes ga-ga over Aussie girl Abbey-Lee Kershaw
TOP Italian fashion label Gucci can’t get enough of Australia’s Abbey-Lee Kershaw.
Caught on the catwalk at the label’s resort collection and 70th anniversary show in Rome this week, Kershaw has strutted straight into shooting the new Gucci Resort campaign, reports Fashion Editor Jen Melocco.
The luxury label, which secured the one-time Bondi babe exclusively at the winter shows in February, are not the only influential Italians in love with Kershaw and her gal pals from Sydney’s Chic Models, Catherine McNeil and Sarah Stephens.
The bevy of beauties are taking out Italian Vogue’s October issue front to back, with top photographers snapping a 20-page shoot of Kershaw for the mag.
Model wannabes hoping to follow in their stiletto-strapped footsteps should head to the Girlfriend Model Search at Westfield Liverpool on Saturday, from 9am to 1.30pm.
