Self-Portrait
Model and artist Naomi Preizler spends her fashion shows backstage spare time drawing waht’s around her, specially portraits of other models and hers as well. The 21-year-old Argentinian came up to be known for her self portraits and quick drawings of models, which have already been featured, among other places, on Vogue.com, Harper’s Bazaar Argentina, the Telegraph’s Stella magazine and on Harvey Nichols spring/summer 2012 look book as fashion illustrations.
Beauty, whether it belongs to fellow models or to clothes, is what catches her eye. Following the commands of the eyes, her hands quickly sketch her sights, which are later converted to colorful personal insights on a white canvas.
Her drawing became so popular that the other , who were previously sketched in secret, now go to her asking to be drawn.
Even Jean Paul Gaultier owns a Naomi Preizler original that she drew of him and Beth Ditto at the finale of his spring/summer 2011 show.
