Vogue Australia’s February issue, which hit shelves last week, is causing some headaches at the glossy’s Alexandria headquarters thanks to some follicle issues surrounding cover girl Catherine McNeil.
Spies at a rival publication tattled to Confidential that Vogue heavies were less than impressed that McNeil, snapped with long flowing tresses on the cover, was pictured partying at Icebergs on New Year’s Day with a new, super-short crop.
The new pictures surfaced in Confidential on January 3 — a few days before a long-haired McNeil graced the cover.
“There were definitely some words exchanged between the mag, model and [McNeil’s Aussie-based agency] Chic,” said a mag source.
A rep for the mag blasted the rumour as complete poppycock.
