Donna Karan New York relaunches Cashmere Mist Fragrance with Captivating Campaign Featuring Imaan Hammam
New York based American fashion house Donna Karan New York has relaunched its iconic Cashmere Mist Fragrance with a bold new campaign featuring globally renowned supermodel, Imaan Hammam.
The campaign revisits the roots of the fragrance in a series of black and white images, taken in the serene and evocative landscape of the Stockholm Archipelago by Mikael Jansson who photographed the original campaign 30 years ago. The new chapter of Cashmere Mist re-introduces its timeless sensuality with a fresh perspective through Hammam’s elegance, strength, and femininity who embodies its ethereal essence.
The fragrance opens with fresh and dewy notes of Lily of the Valley and luscious Orchid Flowers, accentuated by Italian Bergamot, Moroccan Jasmine and Heliotrope. Finally, warm notes of Amber, Vanilla, Sandalwood, and velvety Suede Accord add a finishing touch. The fragrance is housed in a bottle (designed by Donna Karan’s late husband, sculptor Stephen Weiss), that mirrors the beautiful contours and lines of the female form in glass.
Inspired by the timeless sensuality of Cashmere Mist, a limited-edition collection of 100 percent cashmere styles has been released. Priced between 165 Euros and 410 Euros, it comprises of a Dress, Tank, Long Cardigan, Short Cardigan, Pant and Tee. The fragrance comes in 3 sizes of 100ml, 50 ml, and 30 ml and is priced between 80 and 130 USD.
