Burberry unveils redesigned Flagship in Seoul, South Korea

British luxury fashion house Burberry has unveiled its resigned flagship Store in Seoul, South Korea.

Located on 459 Dosan-daero, Gangnam-gu, it offers a new shopping experience for Burberry customers with a curation of menswear, womenswear and accessories from the latest Winter 2024 collection.

The store aptly captures a sense of British luxury and Burberry’s heritage that is conveyed through its interior design that features Burberry Check upholstery, Equestrian Knight Design carvings and sculptural furniture inspired by renowned British artists Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth.

To celebrate the opening two exhibitions have been set up in the store: ‘Burberry Art Space’ and ‘Burberry Heritage’. The Burberry Art Space exhibition is dedicated to showcasing British artists and introduces the work of three contemporary artists Sarah Cunningham, Pam Evelyn and Jemima Murphy who interpret the natural world, environment and subjective experiences in their own unique way. A reference to Burberry’s longstanding connection with British art, it will run till Sunday 10 November 2024.

The second exhibition ‘Burberry Heritage’ celebrates Burberry’s outerwear heritage and a features a curation of archive outerwear, archive imagery and several pieces from the latest Outerwear 2024 campaign. The selection includes Heritage Trench Coats, made in England at Burberry’s Castleford factory in Yorkshire, as well as new-season trench coats.
