Richemont appoints Catherine Renier as Chief Executive Officer of Van Cleef & Arpels
Switzerland-based luxury goods company Richemont has announced the appointment of Catherine Renier as Chief Executive Officer of Van Cleef & Arpels.
Renier who currently serves as chief executive officer of Jaeger-LeCoultre will succeed Nicolas Bos as Chief Executive Officer of Van Cleef & Arpels, effective 1 September 2024, and will report to him following his recent appointment as Richemont’s CEO.

Renier brings over 20 years of experience in the in the luxury goods sector, particularly jewelry and watchmaking industry. She joined the Richemont Group in 1999 as the Retail Development Director for Cartier North America, based in New York. In 2003, she moved to Paris to take on the role of Deputy Marketing Manager at Van Cleef & Arpels, where she contributed to the development of the Maison.
In 2008, she relocated to Hong Kong to support the growth of Van Cleef & Arpels in the Asia Pacific region. She held various leadership positions, including Commercial Director, Managing Director for Hong Kong & Macau, and finally as President for Asia Pacific, a role she held for 8 years. In 2018 she was appointed as CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre.
